New Snowmaking Technology & Product Updates from SMI

Our latest product lineup introduces new technologies designed to improve efficiency, reliability, and ease of operation across your snowmaking system. Built on decades of real-world experience, these innovations are engineered to deliver long-term performance.

SmartSnow7 Snowmaking Software

We've launched the seventh version of our SmartSnow snowmaking automation software

Access from any device: iOS, Android, or web browser

Monitor and manage your system from anywhere with real-time visibility

Maximize efficiency and produce high-quality snow by seizing every available window

Full integration with SMI automation and weather monitoring

Control your pumping, pedestals, hydrants, and air/water/power lines all from our app.

Grizzly Low - E Stick

SMI Grizzly Low Energy snowmaking stick/lance

We've recently re-engineered our Grizzly stick to perform better in marginal conditions.

Increased flow steps for greater control in marginal and cold-weather conditions.

Engineered new head styles to accommodate different windy conditions.

Available in fully automated or manual configurations with compressor or hill air feed options!

The Access Tower

The Access Tower

The SMI Access Tower uses a hydraulic pump to completely lower to ground level, eliminating ladder climbs and providing optimal access angles for faster, more efficient maintenance.

Keep the tower lowered for better snowmaking angles in windy conditions, with the ability to oscillate the fan head in any direction, regardless of the tower height. Raise the tower back up (or to any taller angle) for more hangtime and bigger coverage.

The FireCat

The FireCat

The SMI FireCat transforms your snowmaking system into a wildfire suppression tool.

The FireCat operates entirely on high-pressure snowmaking water rated up to 400 PSI and leverages your existing network of snowmaking lines, hydrants, and pumps to deliver rapid, high-volume coverage.

Automation Available For All Snow Machines

SMI Super Puma Snowmakers

While not new, we wanted to let you know that we offer full automation for all of our snow machines.

Our automated snow machines are equipped with an onboard weather station that enables continuous monitoring of air and water pressure, along with automated flow controls. These machines automatically adjust water volume, air pressure, and nucleation in response to changing conditions.

Pair with our SmartSnow7 Snowmaking technology for remote control of your entire snowmaking fleet!

SMI is rolling out brand new 7” HMI screens on all new automated snow machines starting in the spring of 2026!
