Fine Tune Your Snowmaking System

Take Advantage of Your Snowmaking Windows

SMI offers comprehensive automation for every snow machine we make.

Featuring an onboard weather station, continuous monitoring of air and water pressure, and automated flow controls, our automated snow machines continuously adjust water volume, air pressure, and nucleation as conditions change.

Automating your snowmaking fleet improves snow quality, increases production, and saves energy by maintaining the best possible settings, helping you capture critical snowmaking windows.

We’ve Re-Engineered the Grizzly Snowmaking Stick for Marginal Conditions

A robotic arm spraying fog or mist in a mountainous landscape with snow-capped peaks, blue sky, and clouds.

We’ve heard your feedback and have completely re-engineered our Low-E Grizzly stick.

We’ve expanded the flow steps to 4 and 6, designed a new dual-jet nucleator, and added 12 water nozzles to allow the Grizzly to produce finer snow particles in marginal conditions.

The Grizzly now reduces compressed air requirements by up to 75% compared to traditional stick snowmakers, while also delivering equivalent or better CFM levels to other modern sticks.

Beat Windy Conditions With Our Access Tower

A snowblower clearing snow in a snowy landscape with trees and distant hills.

The SMI Access Tower uses a hydraulic pump to lower your mounted Puma, PoleCat, or Wizzard fan gun all the way to ground level—eliminating ladder climbs and giving you safer, faster access for maintenance.

In just a few minutes, you can bring the gun down from upright to waist height for 360° access to every component. Run the gun upright for 20+ feet of hang time, or lower the tower for better wind angles. You can also oscillate the head at any height to fine-tune your aim.
