SMI’s Omni System is designed to maximize the use of your fan gun by allowing it to operate on both a tower and a mobile chassis. The omni base enables quick transfer of the fan head between configurations, providing flexibility throughout the season.

Use the snow gun in a tower position early in the season, then move it to a mobile chassis as conditions change. This allows you to adapt your snowmaking strategy without investing in additional fan guns.

The Omni Tower is a vaulted configuration and is well-suited for installations in avalanche-prone areas or locations where below-grade infrastructure is preferred.

Compatible with automated fan guns, the Omni System provides a practical solution for operations looking to increase flexibility and efficiency.

How It Works

The Omni System is modular, allowing a single fan gun to be used across multiple mounting configurations within the same season.

Operators can transfer the fan head between:

  • Omni Tower (fixed, vaulted position)

  • 3 Wheel Carriage (mobile mount)

  • Delta Chassis (lift-and-carry mount)

This approach helps maximize equipment utilization while maintaining the flexibility to respond to changing terrain and conditions.
