SMI Viking 1R and 2R: Low Energy

The SMI Viking 1R and 2R Airsticks (single or double rings) are available in Europe only and were developed to meet the needs of customers wanting fixed position, colder condition, and lower cost snowmaking.

The robust construction of these Vikings allows for a sustainable operation without disruption of production due to breakdowns. The Viking 1R and 2R are available in 9m, 6m and 3m towers and can supply up to 5 l/s water with six nozzles. The nucleation is supplied by two nucleators fed by a 3 kW or 4kW compressor, the same amount of air that could be supplied by central air. These Vikings are easy to install and operate.

Viking 1R and 2R Specifications Water Flow: 15-80 gpm (0,9 l/s - 5 l/s) (dependent upon water pressure and nozzle configuration)

• Water Pressure: The Viking should have a minimum water pressure of 250 psi (17 to 60 bar). (Flow rates vary based on water pressures and nozzles selected)
• Nozzles: 4 for the 1R Viking and 6 for the 2R Viking
