SMI Viking SnowTower: Low Energy
The SMI Viking SnowTower family has been developed to meet the needs of customers wanting fixed position, colder condition, and lower cost snowmaking. The Viking uses a 20 foot (6 meter) tower to feed up to 80 gpm (302 lpm) to 12 water nozzles. Nucleation is provided by an on-board compressor or hill air system feeding two SMI custom nucleator nozzles.
Offered in manual or automatic snowmaking mode and with a variety of custom mounts, some of the unique design characteristics of the Viking SnowTower are:

changing temperatures

Water Flow: 15-80 gpm (0,9 l/s - 5 l/s) (dependent upon water pressure and nozzle configuration)
Water Pressure: The Viking should have a minimum water pressure of 250 psi (17 bar). (Flow rates vary based on water pressures and nozzles selected)
