SMI® Standard Wizzard Snowmaker: Best in Marginal Conditions
SMI’s Wizzard series was designed for resorts facing marginal snowmaking conditions. Whether it’s warmer temperatures, high humidity or both, these snowmakers deliver optimum performance, both in quantity and quality. The Standard Wizzard is SMI’s mid-size snow machine for medium throws and exceptional value. The Standard Wizzard is offered in a variety of tower and carriage mounts, with an onboard compressor or hill air feed, and equipped for manual or automatic operation.
The Standard Wizzard snow machine uses a 15 HP (11 kW) fan and four rings of 75 heated nozzles per ring that you can customize to suit specific snowmaking conditions. These 300 heated nozzles are nucleated by a built-in ring of 20 nucleator nozzles on the periphery of the spray manifold. Water flow is easily controlled by three heated, self-draining valves.
