Simple Operation and Low Maintenance

The SMI PoleCat snowmaking series was built for simple operation and low maintenance, and is the best option when using a non-potable or unfiltered water supply. The SMI Kid PoleCat Snowmaker is SMI’s smaller fan-driven snow machine, for smaller areas and narrow trails. Available with either a piston or vane compressor, the Kid PoleCat can be equipped with a variety of custom tower and carriage mounts, and configured for manual or automatic snowmaking operation. With a precise delivery capability and short throw distance, the Kid PoleCat is particularly effective on narrow trails.

The Kid PoleCat uses a 7.5 HP (5.5 kW) fan and 15 nozzles that you can customize to achieve the water flows specific to your climate. These nozzles are nucleated with single central six jet nucleator nozzles. Water adjustment is easy with two heated self draining valves.
